Leadership Team

Mr. Ruud assumed the leadership role when his family became majority shareholders of DeltaHawk Engines in May 2015. Prior to this, Mr. Ruud served as vice president Global LED Adoption, overseeing lighting markets for Cree LED lighting products worldwide. Previously, he led Ruud Lighting as president until the acquisition by Cree in August 2011. Mr. Ruud holds an executive master’s degree in business administration from Loyola University and enjoys racing cars in endurance events.

Mr. Heup joined DeltaHawk in 2017. During his career he held a role with Ruud Lighting/Cree that required leadership with global procurement teams in multiple international locations. In 2015 he assumed a position of general management with full financial responsibility for an OEM business. After a two-year hiatus, Mr. Heup rejoined the Ruuds and has since become the President of DeltaHawk. Mr. Heup holds a BS in business marketing from Concordia University, as well as multiple professional leadership certificates.

Mr. Webb joined DeltaHawk in 2005. He is a senior-level executive with a successful track record in general management, engineering, sales and marketing, manufacturing, and international operations, in both public and private companies. His professional career began with Johnson Controls, Inc., where he held various positions in engineering, management, sales, and global marketing. Mr. Webb holds a Professional Engineer (PE) license, is an FAA Designated Engineering Representative (DER) and is also an instrument-rated pilot. Mr. Webb has a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and has completed an Executive Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

Mr. Gill joined DeltaHawk in 2023 as our Director of Engineering. He has 45 years of industrial and recreational product engineering design and development experience ranging from hands on design and test engineering to global team and project management. He holds 47 U.S. patents covering a range of aircraft piston engine design features and characteristics, high efficiency bent axis hydraulic pump / motor design and golf sporting goods products and manufacturing processes. Mr. Gill holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical & Production Engineering from the Lincoln University, (formally Lincoln College of Technology), with a minor in Heat Transfer and Applied Thermodynamic.

Mr. Guillien joined DeltaHawk in 2015. With more than 30 years of manufacturing and quality assurance experience including Ruud Lighting and Cree. Mr. Guillien brings a pragmatic approach to addressing the needs of production, shipping, receiving, and warehousing. He served in the U.S. Air Force installing and supporting communications and air traffic control radar systems with the 485th EIG based in Rome, New York.

Ms. Booker joined DeltaHawk in 2015 following a rewarding tenure at Ruud Lighting. In her role as Director, she has developed and has continued to implement the needs for DeltaHawk’s HR program. Ms. Booker’s passion is recruiting top level people that will be an asset to the DeltaHawk organization, while offering that individual a path for career growth. Ms. Booker holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, with a BA in communications and a Certificate in Conflict Resolution Analysis.
